MONSOON TIME - MUSHROOM TIME !
Monsoon has announced its presence & if you are passionate about mushrooms around you, now is the time to get out there & find stuff!
Did you know that *July & August* are the best monsoon months to find wild mushrooms?
This monsoon, join our citizen science project, where we will explore the world of mushrooms together, have fun, break some myths & create new records.
Be a Fungi Explorer around you"- Learn how to find mushrooms around you, wherever you may be urban, rural, or suburban in areas as small as a backyard or as large as a state.
"Be a Citizen Scientist" - Did you know that only less than 2% of fungi are believed to be known to mankind? Hence, there is always a scope to discover something new!

“Be the Fungi Master-chef” - Did you know mushrooms are edible,non-edible, medicinal and a lot more...? Learn the basics of identifying the mushrooms around you.
How will this work:
STEP 1:

STEP 2:
After registering, you will be asked to join a 1 hour online
session in which we will discuss:
How & Where to find mushrooms around you?
What optional tools to carry?Sustainable mushroom harvesting.
How to document your findings?What precautions to take
STEP 3:
Time to go out- Find & document the mushrooms around you. It can be your backyard, terrace, a small green patch or even your kitchen garden! You can choose any date/ time that works for you.
STEP 4:
Submit your findings to us & we help you identify the mushroom.
